Something New for Writers
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it happen… an author feels stuck, sets one clear goal, shares it with people who actually get the writing life and suddenly they’re moving again. Not because the goal itself was magic, but because someone else knew about it too. Because they weren’t doing it alone anymore AND they were clear on what they were trying to accomplish.
I’ve seen it over and over with the authors I work with. Goals turn into progress when there’s a community holding you to them and when that community is creative, generous, and a little bit obsessed with books, the whole thing becomes something you actually look forward to.
That’s exactly what my colleague Colin Mustful and I set out to build.
Over the past several months, we’ve been creating something we’ve wished existed ourselves… a welcoming online community where writers can grow, stay accountable, and encourage one another.
Today, I’m excited to announce that The Working Writer is officially open.
Whether you’re writing your first book or your tenth, The Working Writer is designed to help you build a sustainable writing life (along side a busy life outside of writing) through education, accountability, and genuine community.
